Fondly known as Sally, beloved wife of Charles W. Kemp for over 62 years. Mother of Chris (Amy) of Lakewood, OH and Jeff (Judy) of Jay, OK. Proud grandmother of Charlie, David (Maria Tress), Maggie (Chris Crumb), Amber Barnett (Anthony), Derek Flaming and Zoe Kemp. Adoring great-grandmother of Lily Jo, Logan, Ray and Jo. Preceded in death by her parents, Myron Herbert and Ruth Miller Young of Ashtabula; and her brother, James M. Young (Carol) of Longwood, FL.

Sally grew up in Ashtabula, OH. She spent her high school years attending the National Cathedral School graduating in 1959. She went on to Pine Manor Junior College finishing in 1961 and then graduated with a BA from the University of Wisconsin in 1963.

In 1963, she married Chuck, the love of her life and started a family in Port Huron, Michigan. After spending a few years in Indiana, they moved to Chicago to raise their boys. She was an active member of the community in both Schaumburg & Palatine, IL.

In the early 90's, they moved permanently to Eagle River WI and bought the Fountain Blu. Together with Chuck, they ran the store for 30 years. She was an active member of the Eagle River business association and was named Eagle River Chamber of Commerce Woman of the Year in 2008.

Sally was a devoted member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eagle River WI. She loved her church and enjoyed participating in all of the activities.

She spent a few weeks a year enjoying the sun on Siesta Key. She was an avid Packers, Brewers & Bucks fan. Her family knew never to call during a game. She was proud to have achieved the rank of "Bronze Life Master" by the American Contract Bridge League.

Sally had a wonderful spirit and lived life on her terms. Her legacy is marked by her love of her family and support of her church and community. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be at 11am on Friday, December 12, 2025, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eagle River, WI. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Sally's memory can be made to the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Eagle River, WI.
