Roland Tekampe
Roland Tekampe, 85, of Grayslake, passed away peacefully on December 27th.
He was the beloved brother of Donald, Karen Gehrig, Linda Chrisanti and Joan Paukstis; and a cherished uncle to Robert and Keith Gehrig, Michelle Cotham, David and Derek Tekampe, Diane Le Beau, Donna Bednar, Stacey and Chris Chrisanti, Garrett Paukstis and Allison Ducharme. Roland was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lucille Tekampe; and his sister, Gloria Tekampe.
Visitation for Roland will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 19th, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, 101 Park Pl., Libertyville.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, Jan 20th, at St. Mary of the Annunciation, 22333 W. Erhart Rd., Fremont Center, with interment to follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, honoring Roland's life and legacy.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
