Robert L. Blaseck

Robert L. Blaseck, 95, passed away January 10, 2026, at the Pepper Family Hospice Care Center in Barrington, Illinois.

He was born December 12, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Harry and Gertrude Blaseck. They moved to Chicago, where he graduated from Schurz High School and went on to graduate from Northwestern University, where he pledged Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Following that, he pursued a career in sales and eventually acquired Midwest Business Forms and served as president until his retirement at the age of 70.

Robert was active in First Presbyterian Church in Arlington Heights, as well as the local Rotary Club. He and his wife, Sally lived in Palatine prior to moving to The Moorings of Arlington Heights in 2010, where he lived prior to his death.

Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Sally; and his parents, Harry and Gertrude. He is survived by his son, Jim; and daughter-in-law, Kathy.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel of The Moorings of Arlington Heights, Sunday, January 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
