Joshua Nicholas Perry

Joshua Nicholas Perry, 47, of DeKalb, faithfully entered into the hands of our lord on January 13, 2026.

He was born in Winfield on May 25, 1978.

He is survived by his wife, Megan (McCabe) Perry; daughter, Brianna, son, Brayden; his parents, Carlton and Christine (Mummert) Perry; brother, Michael and life partner, Annmarie (Killam) Perry, brother, Matthew and wife, Monique (Vesper) Perry, brother, Zachariah and wife, Tina (Barney) Perry; nieces, Kaitlyn Perry and Kelsey McCabe, nephews, Ezekiel Perry and Colin McCabe.

Josh dedicated his life to being a loving husband and father while serving others through his work as a coach, Eucharistic Minister, and an EMT. He faithfully served the Warrneville Police Department as Community Service Officer and Animal Control Officer for the last 18 years. Josh will be deeply missed for his loving dedication to those around him.

A visitation will be held on Monday January 19, 2026, from 1:30pm until time of Funeral Mass at 3pm at Newman Catholic Student Center Christ the Teacher University Parish, 512 Normal Rd., DeKalb, IL 60115. A reception will follow.
