Arlington Heights, Illinois - John Barry Vincent

It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of John Barry Vincent on November 29, 2025.

Born December 13, 1945, in Indianapolis, IN, to Dale Marie Vincent (Barry) and John N. "Jack" Vincent, John was raised in Webster, SD the middle child and only son. John grew up very active playing golf, basketball, hunting, and fishing.

In 1970 he graduated from the University of South Dakota with a JD in Constitutional Law. After a brief time in the Army and work with a South Dakota Senator, John became a Special Agent with the FBI. This moved him to Chicago, where he had an amazing 27 year career.

In his personal life, John was an avid golfer, bridge player, reader, self-taught DIY master, world traveler, and joke teller.

Most important to John was his family: adoring wife, Ramona "Rae" (Guarraci); daughters, Katie "Kat", Kerri (Donald Heidenreich); and grandson, Jack V. Heidenreich. John took tremendous pride in being a husband, father and provider.John is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Jane. Surviving family includes his sister, Pamela; in-laws; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass will follow at 12 Noon. John was an active member for over 40 years, most recently an usher for 10 AM Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine, IL.
