Clearwater, FL - Jeanine Ellen Jones (nee Paul), age 81, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 17th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Chicago on September 27, 1944, Jeanine spent much of her life in Rolling Meadows and Crystal Lake, Illinois, where she created a warm and welcoming home for her family and friends.

She will be fondly remembered for her years of service at Gloria Jean's Coffee Bean and Meadows Credit Union, where she formed lasting friendships. Jeanine enjoyed memorable family vacations to the Black Hills of South Dakota, loved curling up with a good book, and found joy in playing the slots at casinos. She was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears, cheering them on throughout her life.

Jeanine is survived by her children, Jennifer Bendorf (Mike), Jeffrey Jones, and Catherine Koch (Tom); grandchildren, Charles Cerniglia III, Curtis Koch, Jessica Degelmann, Cassandra Koch, William Zonzo Jr., Jackson Jones, Jillian Jones, and Jensen Jones; as well as many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Curtis, her parents Lawrence and Lorraine Paul, brother Lawrence, son Timothy, and grandson Anthony.

A celebration of Jeanine's life will be held at a later date for friends and family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Avenues to Independence of Park Ridge, IL (https://avenuestoindependence.org/contribute/) or the American Lung Association in her memory.
