Elk Grove Village, IL - Daniel Frank Starsiak passed away in his Elk Grove Village, IL home on Nov. 10, 2025 at the age of 77.

Dan was born in Chicago on March 19, 1948, but he grew up in Elmhurst, IL. He attended York High School, Southern Illinois University and CSU Long Beach. He was a resident of Elk Grove Village for almost 40 years. Before retiring, he worked for 20 years at the Schaumburg Park District Sports Center. Dan loved books, movies, and the music of the 1960's and '70's. He was an avid fan of the White Sox, the Bears and college football. Dan had a warm, friendly, outgoing personality. He had the gift of making everyone he met feel special. He was devoted to his family and friends.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Estelle Starsiak, and his sister, Diane Passafiume. He is survived by his niece Julia (Eric) Cousins and her son Logan, his brother-in-law Keith Passafiume and numerous cousins.

No funeral service is planned at this time, but a Celebration of Life will take place in the spring of 2026.
