Barbara Burkholder

Barbara Burkholder, of Schaumburg, passed away on Nov. 23, at the age of 83. She worked as an English Teacher at South Middle School in Arlington Heights during the 1960s and 70s and later a homemaker.

She grew up in Moline, IL, and received a Bachelor's Degree from Marycrest College and a Master's Degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She was a faithful Catholic, avid reader and supporter of numerous charities.

Loving wife of the late Alex Burkholder, mother and aunt, who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 6pm-8pm at Morizzo Funeral Home, 2550 West Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates.

On Thursday, Dec. 4, a Visitation will be held at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Hubert Church, 729 Grand Canyon, Hoffman Estates.
